How Cohen can go from one extreme to the other. It's like he was struck by lightning.

Is he now a hero? Listening to him, it sounds like he is.

It can be like the frog in a pot of warm water, that is set to boil. What surrounds you becomes your new normal.

I'm not sure what snapped him out of the situation - he named a couple of things.

respect that. First step is to own up to what he did, accept the consequences and then to tell the truth.

which he did to protect Trump. He's not about to do that again, and he has nothing to lose (and the possibility of a reduced sentence to gain) by telling the truth now. Whether he's really had a come-to-Jesus moment or just wants to get even with Trump for throwing him under the bus - who knows?

he's been freed from a cult.
he has been caught and has nothing left to lose.
and as he just stated, he can see what a divisive and destructive force trump is to the country.

He does come off as man who got out from under a cult.

Reminds me a little of the German people after WWII ended. They are one minute horrified at what they did and the next minute thrilled to be out from the trance.

People have to finally realize what is wrong to free themselves from a cult. Some never do.

They change the kind of person they want to be. That is supposed to be the reason for incarceration; to punish criminals so they will look at themselves in a different light.

I think Trump was saying Cohen did it without telling him. Cohen knew loyalty was a one street for Trump, but only then did he realize that it could happen to him.

It was ridiculous.

It was boxes returned to Cohen after the raid. Yet, he was being questioned about why he didn't turn them in.

Reaching.
