Is anyone else surprised that Democrats haven’t gotten more out of Cohen along the lines of “Trump said X” and “Trump said Y” and “Trump did A” or “Trump did B”? The racist remarks that Cohen alleges Trump made, from Democrats’ perspective, are damaging because they’re specific and memorable. The fact that there haven’t been much more of substance along those lines is good for the White House, no?

Yeah, I’m surprised that Democrats haven’t asked more probing questions. I dunno, usually when I see Congress in contexts like these, it is always surprising how many of the members don’t seem to have strong political skills.

Agreed, Nate. Watching some of these members, you wonder how they managed to get elected in the first place.

It seems like the younger/newer members of Congress, who are going last in the batting order here, are a lot sharper than the older ones.
