https://davidbrin.blogspot.com/2019/02/stone-cold-america-killers.htmlAs former "great guy" and trusted factotum Michael Cohen testifies in Congress, the right's media calls him a "convicted liar," and we keep waiting for other media to point out the obvious. Alas, it's important to remember that Democratic politicians are absolutely dismal at the art of polemic. They will yatter about grownup things like violations of trust and the law, when we desperately need to peel off just another ten million residually-sane conservative Americans from the collapsing confederate coalition

Agreed, show some emotion, call a liar a liar. We need to get better at messaging.

Assumes facts not in evidence.
Trump's approval rating is nearly 90% among Rs. There aren't ten million to peel off. There are only roughly thirty million (R registered voters) to being with.

Hes right.
We need a good communication strategy. Republicans have been WAY better at speaking to the white working class.
Dont be afraid to yell. Show some emotion. Call liars liars. Use the word lie if people are lying, and stand your ground when they feign offense. Do what Pete Strzok did, or Brett Kavanaugh. THAT is the communication style conservatives like.

We usually want to help people, not verbally assault them, and this carries over even to Republicans.

it's the independent voters, that will push us past the 50% mark.
