These two tweets are interesting

A lot of catering to Kim Jong Un going on in Vietnam. First press is kicked out of hotel where Kim is staying. Now some reporters are blocked from pool spray because the dictator doesn’t like shouted questions. - Jim Acosta, CNN

To be clear, the reporters are being excluded by an official from the US government, not foreign officials, in one of the more outrageous moves by this White House. - Maggie Haberman, NYT

One thought. Kim Jong Un would not have answered a hardball question. But the fact that he DID answer a question is extraordinary. The journalism bar is set pretty low. And frankly, the same is true for denuclearization. At this point, the US will be happy with (almost) anything.

The perspective might suggest otherwise but if you follow the line of the pool edge you can see that if anything, Trump is slightly ahead.

Not that any of it means a damn thing - it’s still two megalomaniacs strolling together during a meaningless exercise, but we must strive for veracity, ne c’est pa?
