The Australian Government has confirmed it has had contact with Julian Assange while he has been holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Foreign Minister Bob Carr's office says consular officials have spoken with the WikiLeak's founder on eight occasions. The last conversation was less than two days ago, just before Ecuador granted him asylum. (954 posts)If his own government didn't reach out to help, I see no relevance to his case in Sweden.
If there is additional information they are waiting to release, then let them go to court in Sweden and release it.
Even his lawyer admitted that Assange LIED about the investigation being over.
