The real problem here is that elitist brick wall of not caring about other human beings that are poor, or non-white, or non-citizens and/or non-Christian. That is, pure Republican elitism, racism and class warfare.

Perhaps someone here can update us, but I believe our representatives in the House intend to put a tight leash on ICE in the future. Until that happens, migrants and refugees will suffer every day and it's mostly happening out of sight/out of mind.
