The US/NK summit was a complete failure.

Not only was it a failure, but The United States was played into dropping a full accounting of NK's nuke program.

We came away with less than we showed up with.

There is no way to spin this.

This should be a major issue in 2020. Trump is incapable of conducting foreign policy. And he is surrounded by people who are also incompetent.

Michael Cohen was correct when he warned republicans that they will face a similar fate to what happened to him. Are you listening Mike Pompeo?

Do not forget about FOX News. They are likely going to attempt to spin it by claiming that President Obama would have lifted the sanctions without getting the denuclearization. They will likely say that Donald Trump showed strength by walking away when Kim Jong Un was not willing to give up his nuclear weapons. Remember, after the first summit they were claiming that the difference between a Trump-Kim meeting and an Obama-Kim meeting, that never happened, was that Trump went into the summit with signals of strength. I did not see how Trump went into the first summit with any signs of strength.

from Cohen's testimony. Another chance for Trump to hog the limelight. No need to actually ACCOMPLISH anything. The only requirement was for Trump to pose and posture. He seems to think that a photo of him and Kim before a bunch of flags will look great on the front page of the NYTimes.

I said before he left for VN that it would be just another Trump butt show. And so it was.

Art of the Deal - He doesn't have a clue how to "deal" without threatening people like Cohen mentioned in the hearings. He's a malignant narcissist and their idea of a deal is "my way or else".

He's a loser and a fraud and has always been. I can't wrap my mind around why he was allowed to run his scams for so many decades without the state of New York prosecuting him.

...Michael Cohen will testify publicly before Congress on February 27 on an array of topics linked to his former boss and client, President Donald Trump, the House Oversight Committee said Wednesday.

Cohen was initially scheduled to testify in front of the committee on February 7, but that appearance was canceled by Cohen and his legal team, who cited "threats against his family" after Trump and his attorney, Rudy Giuliani, made public remarks concerning Cohen's father-in-law.

Cohen also later canceled planned closed-door testimony in front of the House and Senate Intelligence committees.

"I am pleased to announce that Michael Cohen's public testimony before the Oversight Committee is back on, despite efforts by some to intimidate his family members and prevent him from appearing," said Rep. Elijah Cummings, a Maryland Democrat who is chairman of the committee, in a statement on Wednesday.

For Trump.

He even admitted watching as much of the hearing as he could.

I bet Kim was laughing at him.

Jordan lied, too. Saying this was the first hearing. Elijah corrected that lie. Both Jordan and Meadows came off looking like fools. Both seem to thnk if they shout that will work.

Then Cohen quietly told them they would end up like him!

If it looks like Traitor Trump is going to jail, he needs an escape route. I think that very little man in Russia who has 15 girl friends and wives living in elaborate estates through out Russia, wants Trump in Russia when he explodes.

There is probably another tax payer funded Russian estate little man Putin can stash Trump and maybe even the naked first lady and her poor white trashy family.

What do you mean by saying "The United States was played into dropping a full accounting of NK's nuke program.". I saw on the news this morning that Donald Trump told Kim Jong Un that the United States knew about certain nuclear development sites. Is that what you are talking about? Are you talking about the press conference when Trump stated that he surprised Kim when he told him that the United States knew about some of his secret sites?
