Trump hides behind the Presidency like a little bully hides behind the skirt of his mother.

He is absolutely convinced he will never be indicted so long as he is the President. That is why he will do everything within his power to win the next election. He is a desperate man.

He hopes he can win the next election and out-live any statutes of limitations for any crimes that are charged in the SDNY. He will not rule out getting help from the Russians if they can help him maintain power.

He has little concern about whether or not he is impeached. He doesn't believe he would ever be convicted in the Senate.

The best bet for the Democrats is to continue to uncover all the criminal acts and shady deals of the Trump family and to continue to make it public. That may be the only option they have to fight the lies and propaganda of the Trump machine? They will have no choice but to fight fire with fire.
