Trump's Hanoi Hail Mary failed to score

His presidency under siege at home and with his own open musing about the prospects of a Nobel prize, President Donald Trump flew to the other side of the world to meet one of the world's most notorious tyrants on a long-shot peace mission.

But his Hail Mary pass didn't work.

He needed a win and a distraction given a day-long congressional hearing at home in which his ex-lawyer Michael Cohen painted a devastating picture of the President's character and effectively accused him of crimes on Wednesday.

For once, Trump's attempt at counter-programming failed when the summit with Kim Jong Un broke up early with no agreement. It left the North Korea initiative -- on which Trump has played huge political capital -- in doubt....

Tampering with global affairs for a photo-op ( with his Russian handler close at hand) that has cost us probably tens of millions of dollars and incalculable loss in prestige.

When will it be enough, America?

No, it's failed numerous times before, CNN. The difference this time is that instead of taking Trump's grandiose pronouncements at face value, the media reported what they saw with their own eyes, not what Trump was saying.

There's a difference, and it's about fucking time.

They all flew over to Hanoi so that Trump could "walk away" and prove that he is "tough" negotiator. Just more reality TV.

He is so disgusting. Instead of being ashamed by Cohen's testimony he talks about "no collusion" as if Cohen is the final arbeitor of his guilt. Besides, Cohen only said that he had no direct evidence of collusion...but he did have his suspicions.

Trump withdrawls from the Iranian verafiable deal to make his own deal just to show he is a better negootiator than Obama...and TRUMP FAILS. Bottom line.

That Trump apparently showed strength by backing away... ignoring the fact that it was idiotic to go in the first place.
