Quite a number of tyrants and murders did not fall, but lived out full lives in the comfort of their accomplishments.

Stalin comes to mind - lived to be 75.

Kim Jong Il lived his entire life as a privileged member of DPRK's ruling family.

Those are just two examples. Tyrants and murderers most certainly do not always fall.

It's a nice thing to hope for, but certainly not true as a factual proposition.
