Once tRump is no longer President he can be indicted, charged and imprisoned. He knows this, therefore I don't believe he will go peacefully. We should prepare for it and not be shocked when it happens.

He CAN'T leave the presidency. He doesn't think he should have to, either. Problem is, 30+ percent of the population will agree.

about whether tRump is worth fighting/dying for. Personally, I wouldn't want to face off against 60+ percent of the population, not good odds of victory.

I do think his MAGA minions will cause trouble but Trump himself I think is more likely to flee the country and pose as 'President in exile' than to not relinquish the office.

Would they have made good on the threat if SCOTUS hadn’t made it unnecessary? Maybe, maybe not.

There can’t be a situation where everybody but Trump accepts his loss but he still refuses to leave. But if he loses, cries fraud and then is supported by states with right wing legislatures? The House would have to refuse to certify and the possibilities range from a huge mess to civil war.

Would republicans enable him? I’ve seen no evidence to the contrary yet.
