Andrew McCabe's Expose' Ends Michelle Obama's Reign at Top of the Bestseller List

Andrew McCabe‘s tell-all The Threat debuted at No. 1 on the New York Times‘ bestseller list this week, knocking Michelle Obama‘s mega-success to second place.

The former deputy director of the FBI, who was unceremoniously fired by President Donald Trump last year, has been on a whirlwind media blitz that certainly vaulted his book to the top of the bestseller list, which was first reported by CNN’s Brian Stelter in Reliable Sources.

The Threat: How the FBI Protects America in the Age of Terror and Trump, an explosive tome that takes a searing look at the Trump presidency, had already reached the top spot on Amazon’s best selling books list earlier this month, following McCabe’s interview on 60 Minutes.

Obama’s own memoir, Becoming, enjoyed a 15-week reign at the top of the New York Times list since it came out in November 2018.

Mr. McCabe wrote an intriguing book. It was very interesting to learn about the workings of the FBI as well as McCabe's long career there.

McCabe also writes a great deal about his years of working under Robert Mueller, whom McCabe discusses with deep reverence. After reading The Threat, I was reassured that Robert Mueller only knows how to do the right thing and that we can trust his conclusions.
