Many are armed and dangerous. We can't put them in mental institutions. It's a problem that has occured elsewhere and led to authoritarian governments. It could happen here.

It was impossible for me to believe that someone so transparently horrible could ascend to that level of power and be attractive even to the "true believers".

It is very poor at expressing what it wants, needs, and expects from us. It's a mass murderer (just check out the old testament). It punishes the good and rewards the wicked here on Earth.

If there was a God, and this God was in the business of picking Republican presidents, Donald Trump is the last man on earth he would have chosen. Instead, Trump is the kind of guy who would have put God back in the smiting business.

I believe that if God would have picked a Republican President, we’d be talking about the stupid, moderately corrupt but very religiously faithful President Rick Santorum.
