It's too easy to buy a politician's votes.

Aside from that, all over the country, republicans are running on the democratic ticket in order to win, because nobody wants to vote for a self-proclaimed republican. Our elections have been destroyed by the republicans and their gerrymandering. Since there is no "real" local news to speak of in most areas, nobody really knows someone running on a ticket, and what they stand for, so posers can win under the Democratic banner, even though they're Faux News fans and confederate flag toting right wing extremists.

Having said all that, I don't know any of the above-named no-voters on the gun bill. They could be life-long liberals who drank the kool aid on this issue. (?)

which is a hotbed of gun advocates. Several counties in this state have declared themselves 2nd Amendment Sanctuary counties.

Personally, I'd vote to register all guns in the first place, plus require background checks for every single sale, including private ones. But I don't hold political office.
