The all inclusive, 'nuff said, sine qua non reason why Trump must go ASAP:

People of integrity and common sense---the majority---are now, thanks to the minority of ignoramuses STILL supporting trump, trapped in a lose/lose, "damned if you do---damned if you don't" situation.

If we wish that potus* succeed in most of his efforts---as the "loyal opposition" has traditionally done---we know by now that 1.) virtually none of his efforts are ethical, non-hypocritical and in the best interest of our nation, and 2.) anything less than in-your-face resistance is seen as approval of and acquiescence in his traitorous regime and may encourage even more aberrant behavior.

If, however, we virulently oppose everything Trumpian, we will be labelled unpatriotic extremists whose goal is to destroy 'murika. And, now that we control the House, our opposition can insure that damn little "governing" gets done. This stagnation will poison the body politic.

While most here---I hope---view opposing Trump as the essence of patriotism, the less thoughtful segment of the voting population may not be comfortable with the names they'll be called if they openly disapprove of him. In rural areas especially, the path of least resistance is to either wear a MAGA cap or keep quiet. No real dialogue is possible in such an environment. I don't see how this situation does anything but deteriorate as long as Trump is seen as our "ruler".

I'm in the "whatever the hell it takes" camp. Healing begins when Trump ends.
