They made a bike for Jay Leno.. a real bike nut. Apparently it was a piece of shit. Kinda sorta fell apart. Bondo flaking all over the place.. He wanted it fixed.. They ignored him.. no cool.

they could bolt shit together and paint them up nice. But it doesn't surprise me that they had some lemons.

After all, most of the shows I saw they were always going down to the last minute, so it wouldn't be surprising if the workmanship was kind of slipshod.

I only watched a few episodes, years ago and when it became a screaming match I dump it.
I'm not much of a chopper guy either so that did not help.. Saw the Leno article in a MC touring magazine...

Every "building" reality show inserts a time crunch as a way of introducing tension and conflict opportunities.

Otherwise it's just a bunch of happy people building cool machines. While that's a great life/work balance, it makes for boring television after a little bit.

Trickle down economics, which has failed 100% of the times it's been tried. I suspect that even the people who love it know it doesn't work the way they CLAIM it does. They know good and well it does nothing but redistribute wealth from the poor to the rich. What I can't believe is the number of poor people who will insist it works too.
