Graham defends Trump after North Korea summit: 'Trump means business'

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), a foreign policy hawk and a staunch ally of President Trump, on Thursday said Kim Jong Un knows "Trump means business" despite the recent setback in negotiations with North Korea.

“Why is Rocket Man talking to Trump when he’s never talked to anybody else? Because he knows Trump means business," Graham said at the Conservative Political Action Conference, using a nickname Trump previously coined for Kim.

"Why is the Taliban at the peace table? Because they’re being kicked in their ass. Why is the caliphate destroyed? Because Trump let the military do its job. Why is Iran on the run? Because Trump knows a bad deal when he sees one,” he said, referring to a range of international developments including the downgrade of ISIS and Trump’s withdrawal from the 2015 nuclear pact with Iran.

“He’s doing a hell of a job as commander in chief, he’s rebuilt our military, he’s put our enemies on the run, and he’s a better friend and nobody’s stood by Israel better than Donald Trump. Nobody.”

Not quite Senator Suckass. The reason other U.S. presidents didn't meet with North Korea is they knew it was nothing but a ploy to boost their dictator's stature.

Trump being the malignant narcissist didn't get this. Kim meanwhile can tell his people how he stood up to the evil U.S.

Though I suppose consistency could be viewed as a positive.

Once an obsequious slug always an obsequious slug.

Oooh, oooh, I know! I know!

That's because every other president going back to Truman knew not to confer credibility and legitimacy on a ruthless dictator, and our foreign policy (shabby as it's been in other respects) has steadfastly maintained that line with the Kim dynasty in North Korea.

And now Trump, a man who knows jack shit about foreign policy, talks to Kim. Kim, the man who fed his own uncle, naked and alive, to a pack of starving dogs. Kim, who sent assassins to poison his half brother in the Philippines. Yeah, this is someone who understands when someone else means business. What kind of business do you suppose a bloodthirsty tyrant like Kim understands, Senator?

1. giving away something in return for nothing
2. Inability to broker a deal.
3. Legitimize NK's place on the world stage by allowing it to out maneuver the USA.
4. Give the international community zero faith in our leadership ability.
5. Turn a blind eye as they continue theit nuke program unabated.

Then yes, drumpf definitely means business.
