Sigh. My health insurance is skyrocketing again.

Just got a letter from my insurance company. It's increasing another $70 a month, putting me up to over $400 a month!! I barely even use it and I'm only in my 30s. I was told by a health insurance expert that my plan is actually the cheapest for me.

That is absolutely insane.

I'm only paying $100 monthly for ACA but have a $6,500 deductible, so any substantial medical care is going to work out to around $500 a month, and that's on top of the $1,200 annual premium. I tell people the coverage is great as long as I don't actually use it.
Health care in the US is a fucking cruel joke.

Health "insurance" is all overhead; it's just added to the cost of health care.

Thanks for posting this . Please send emails to your representatives.

I think we have to get to some kind of critical mass before we can change it. Is there even one state where people can afford decent healthcare?
