I loved vinyl and cassettes.

I mostly liked President Clinton. I really liked President Carter. I admired NASA's tenacity to fulfill President Kennedy's dream of sending astronauts to the Moon.

On the other hand, I hated Nixon, Viet Nam, civil unrest, political assassinations, Reagan/Bush and the rise of right-wing radio.

Specifically to your point, however, why do Republicans keep dumbing down their presidential candidates? "W" was bad enough but Trump is downright idiotic and stupid. What kind of fool follows such an imbecile?
