https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1101835117901819905.htmlBy now it should be obvious that to the GOP, women and girls are not considered human. They are only considered vessels, incubators, male service units (for domestic help, sex and incubation) - NOT human. This is why the attitude exists that they are undeserving of health care.
The @GOP has spent its entire existence advocating for the sexual and reproductive ENSLAVEMENT of America's girls and women. These attitudes have historical precedent:
Reproductive Rights and the Long Hand of Slave Breeding
The pursuit of reproductive freedom and civil freedom need to be seen as one and the same, argues Pamela Bridgewater.

And in case anyone somehow believes that his just doesn't happen - could never happen - that these attitudes just don't exist anymore, I present THIS:
Republican controlled Idaho Congress blocks bill to end child marriage for those under the age of 16
A report found that Idaho had the highest rate of child marriage of 38 states that provided data.

@GOP's attitude towards girls and women is that as soon as physically able - they are to be raped and forced to bear children. That this is their "lot" in life. And that only white men decide if a woman or girl has sex, under what circumstances, with whom, and how. (rape culture)
Girls and women are to be married off or taken as soon as possible and given no say in their sexual activity or whether or when or how they have children. Only white men decide. If a rape occurs and the child is bi-racial, the white male owner may advocate for abortion.
mentions But it is NEVER EVER up to the woman or girl whether she is allowed birth control or abortion. @GOP believes that these decisions are only up to white men -- just as they were when African slaves were 'bred' and their fitness to breed was a selling point. It's SLAVERY.
And no one should believe for one goddamned millisecond that these white men today think of America's girls and women any differently then the white male slave owners did in the days of African slavery. They DON'T. To them, America's women & girls are just slaves, not human.
Look at the SLEW of anti-abortion laws being shoved through by these men & their ignorant friends, America's pro-rape/rape culture, its sex trafficking ring coverups (Epstein et al), who its current President is (a rapist and sex trafficker), who was last put on the USSC...
....Kavanaugh, a rapist), it could not BE more obvious that white male attitudes towards girls & women in America today are NO. DIFFERENT. than their attitudes towards African slaves in the past. @GOP wants America's girls and women sexually and reproductively ENSLAVED.
Are they going to SAY that? NO. But look at WHAT. THEY. DO. They're not going to say the "n" word anymore either, but we know the same attitudes are still there, underpinning all the systemic racism built into our society, environment, economy & legal system. Same w/ sexism.
