Trump on Israel embassy move: 'Evangelicals appreciate it more than the Jews'

President Trump said in a new interview that evangelical Christians have been more appreciative than Jews of his decision to move the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

Trump indicated to Mike Huckabee on the former GOP governor’s TBN show, a Christian network, that he was surprised that more Jewish people weren’t more appreciative about the embassy move.

“I tell you what, I get more calls of thank you from evangelicals, and I see it in the audiences and everything else, than I do from Jewish people,” Trump said. “And the Jewish people appreciate it but the evangelicals appreciate it more than the Jews.”

“It’s not a surprise though Mr. President, because evangelicals are people of the book,” Huckabee replied. “And they believe you kept a promise, were fulfilling really a 3,000-year old commitment to recognize Jerusalem as the capital.”

So Trump is measuring Jewish gratitude to something done in a foreign country and I didn't see anybody call it antisemitic once here or anywhere for that matter, why?

First of all, many Jews in the United States see moving the embassy to Jerusalem as a provocation that stands in the way of peace. Secondly, many Jews in the United States see the goals of the evangelicals for what is: Armageddon in which Jews who refuse to accept Jesus will be condemned to hell.

Excuse me while I seethe.

All I see is that "christians" like Huckabee hide their hatred of the Jewish people, by being pro-Israel...while in the shadows they push forward the destruction of Israel in order to ascend to heaven and sit at the right hand of God!!!

Evangelicals like Huckabee are looking to commit genocide against anyone who won't bow down to their deluded and twisted views on religion!!!

If she said something even close to what Huckabee said, like if Muslims were more religious than Jews or that they were "people of the book", the right wing reaction would be so fast her hijab would spin.
