Repugs are often given more leeway because they cry the loudest when they are made to follow the rules

He wants to trip her up so she would have to recuse herself. She's making sure that doesn't happen and his lawers are watching her very carefully. In a way it's like she's on trial too.

Never forget that civil rights are rights to protect people you don't like, because there are people who don't like you that you need protection from. Goes both ways.

Hence hard for a judge to make a move without a hearing to protect the innocent-until-proven-guilty rights.

Now or later , but he's setting himself up for some hard time for a long while acting like he's acting. He should have watched closer what happened to Manafort before he did any of this. Others attempting to try and lie their way out of this should think long and hard how much time do they want to serve in prison before they commit to lying. There is no hope for the trumps to tell the truth on anything ,and their fate will be really , really bad.

giving him enough rope to hang himself. We all knew he would, it was only a matter of how quickly he would violate the gag order.

Now, she can drop the hammer without Stone's buddies crying about how "unfair" it is.

It says the book was originally published in 2016 under a different title. OK I'm not a lawyer but it seems that the judge or the DA could stop this if they wanted to.

and then there will be judgements and appeals and all that crap will be procedural and sorted out before a trial can even begins. You get all the justice you can afford. I wonder how much Stone and however many friends he has can afford or will spend.

Wait til what Roger Stone will hear from Trumps mouth about him when the time comes. Stone will be going to jail. Lying under oath is a serious business. Even Nixon felt Stone was just the GOP version of Dick Tuck. Only Trump used him seriously - as a telephone to wikileaks. What kind of prisons are these guys going to: Lewisburg or Club Fed?
