When Chump did this in December it was because of the shutdown. Kitchen help was hard to come by then, but the shutdown is over. So why is Chump even doing this?

He wants to be known as the fast food president because it make him seem more like a man of the people.

And there's nothing wrong with fast-food. (Well, strike that. Health wise there's a lot wrong with fast food, but having it occasionally is perfectly fine and it can fulfill cravings or the need to eat on the run.)

But the idea that it is somehow worthy of providing guests in the White House is crazy. Even worse is letting it sit out on platters for hours.

Because while fast food can be tasty if not nutritious, cold fast food is neither of those things.

because he doesn't think what they are doing is important.

Not to mention, he will get into the news cycle, off of the backs of the students.
