Mavericks owner Mark Cuban considering 3rd-party presidential run for 2020

Another egotistical billionaire who is only able to even be REPORTED saying this because he is a billionaire..

And for pete sake,, he's a freakin' BASKETBALL coach (oopps--- I stand corrected.. basketball team OWNER !!)

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban told the New York Daily News Monday that he has not ruled out a 2020 presidential run and that if he follows through, he will do so without political affiliation.

If he does, he would become the second prominent billionaire to consider a third-party run for the White House in an election that is expected to be a referendum on the Donald Trump presidency.

Cuban: ‘We’ll see what happens’
“I haven’t decided anything yet,” Cuban told the Daily News. “We’ll see what happens. It all comes down to how things play out. It’s not something I feel like I have to do. ... But it’s something that if circumstances were right I would do.”

Cuban criticized the Democratic party for what he sees as a group that’s more focused on appealing to its base than independents and Republicans.

“If you look at the Democrats right now, there’s like a democratic gravity that pulls all the candidates to the same point,” Cuban said. “And it’s very difficult to show leadership in a situation like that because you can’t truly lead if you have to find an equilibrium between being a true leader for the people of your country vs. getting elected in your primary.

“None of those things are conducive to out-and-out leading the country.”

He just owns an NBA team and has a lot of money. He made his fortune on tech and entertainment industries.

Last I knew he really despises Trump so I would hope that the fact that a strong 3rd party run would likely be the only way Trump gets reelected would dissuade him from making this sort of self centered decision.

I don't think he is a sociopath. That would be a nice change.

He knows Trump. And he doesn't think he is competent.

There is no way he can actually believe he can win in a 3-way race...

In my opinion, this is all just ego and having the $$$$$ to do whatever he wants....

He is a lot more appealing than Trump. He is nice looking and well spoken. And he is a whole lot smarter than Trump.

If I was a Republican and had to choose I would vote for Cuban.

He does have at least one "I got too drunk and did stupid stuff" story out there. But that was just getting drunk at a bar and putting his hand down someone's Jean's. Small potatoes.

I saw him interviewed once. He said Trump was kind of a real estate savant but that he had no experience managing anyone. I think he just thought he was incompetent at everything else.

He has good face appeal.

I don't care if you're not as crazy as Trump or if you're better at business than he was.

We need someone who has actually answered to the public in his or her career at some point in his or her life.

That goes for you too, Starbucks Dude.

But not on a massive scale like the whole country. He already have a "billionaire pResident" and his intent is apparent.

I mean, based on his announcement, he seems more likely to appeal to right-wingers. That, and he's a white billionaire, of course...

This should work in our favor.

Haven't we learned that having money and a modicum of fame does not qualify one to be President of the United States?

Curb your ego asshole. You alone can't fix it. Either!
