How much longer will we "go along to get along"?

Donald Trump is a criminal. There is much credible evidence that he has committed numerous felonies, both before and after the "inauguration".

Donald Trump is seriously mentally ill and may be exacerbating his illness by abusing drugs. One literally cannot count the number of respected psychiatrists who have risked much to warn us of Trump's mental illness and other experts have explained that he manifests the classic symptoms of someone abusing a prescription drug, Aderall in particular.

Donald Trump is willfully ignorant of the world he lives in, the nation in which he is a citizen and his own shortcomings. The man does not read, has no intellectual curiosity and has the attention span of a gnat.

Donald Trump is an arrogant self-centered man-child whose primary goal in life is his own gratification. He has some vague understanding of concepts like integrity and loyalty and personal responsibility. He just doesn't care about them.

Unsurprisingly, given the above, Donald Trump is a racist, a bigot, a homophobe and a misogynist.

All of the above is widely known and generally accepted as factual by the majority of Americans, yet the Republicans in Congress and Republicans in general have, for two years, supported everything Trump has proposed and have repeatedly excused his greed, his vulgarity, his mendacity and his criminality. They have repeatedly shielded him from what should have been the legal and political consequences of his unprecedented and traitorous actions.

And, still, we---"the good guys", the "adults in the room"---actually pretend to debate whether or not it is our Constitutional duty to impeach.

And, still, we smilingly wish for "bipartisan solutions" and wonder how we might find common ground with the aiders, bettors and apologists on "the other side of the aisle", some of whom are likely complicit in Trump's crimes and his betrayal of our nation.

Does anyone truly believe that the above clanging hypocrisy is not apparent to a large swath of the electorate? Is that image likely to persuade voters that Democrats stand for honesty, common sense and effective governance?

If the Republican Senate refuses to convict Trump despite more evidence against him than any prior POTUS, they will answer for that in 2020. If the Democratic House refuses to impeach him given that same evidence, will WE not answer for that in 2020?

She is a malignant narcissist. I believe she is seriously mentally ill and willfully ignorant. I see it every time I interact with her, which is as seldom as possible!
