3 more arrested in NC absentee ballot fraud case

RALEIGH, N.C. — Three people have been arrested this week in connection to voting irregularities in Bladen County ...
All three, along with Rebecca D. Thompson, were charged with conspiracy to commit obstruction of justice and illegal possession of an absentee ballot. Mathis was also charged with falsely signing certification on an absentee ballot.
The charges stem from their work with Bladen County political operative McCrae Dowless in the 2016 general election and the 2018 primary.
The State Bureau of Investigation is still trying to take Thompson into custody ...
