Manafort asks judge for compassion, doesn't apologize, no remorse, says it's been "difficult"

Breaking..."I have felt punishment during these proceedings, I've had much time to repent, I ask for your compassion."

So in other words, a pity party asking for leniency,

has always been full bet on trump pardon.

[Seems like a horrible bet, even if trump made secret express pardon promise after Manafort conviction].
