Manafort will receive a second sentence next week from a different federal judge

One thing to note: Manafort will receive a second sentence next week from a different federal judge for the two crimes he pleaded guilty to last year — witness tampering and conspiracy related to his illegal Ukrainian lobbying and money laundering.

jury counts, because that re-trial would be held in Ellis's court, AFAIK. Not much point in dealing with this guy again if you don't have to.

The ass that is in VA is a grandstanding, showboat nutcase. Rachel gave info about him and I do not respect him at all. The only reason I am not fuming right now is the fact that he will be seeing a fair judge next week. He will most likely get a just sentence from her.
