That's why I think it's a good case to inoculate the public. They'll claim overreach, quote judge Ellis, and that he will still be sentenced in DC. But, the first co-conspirator gets a pardon, making the second a little easier.

It is so damn light then why even pardon? Or wait until next week for a more just and much longer sentence to do it then, figuring 47 weeks is a walk in the country club venue?

I keep thinking I can't be more enraged, but here we are.

or commuted to time served. And Manafort will get his passport back, and fly off to a dacha in eastern Ukraine before New York can even get a case filed.
