Because Republicans touted they are the party of jobs. Those tax cuts are not helping average Americans.. Democrats know that.

when the Bond Market started freezing up due to Mitch McConnell's refusing to pass a Budget Resolution .

Thirty five days of the Trump Governmental Shut down,just kicked it up a few gears. BTW,some of those folks are still waiting for their full back pay.
