I would like to know who gave the order to separate children from their parents?

Who decided that? How did that decision come about? How can that happen? What is the origination and time line of that decision? If anyone knows here at DU, I would like to know too. It seems to me to be not only wrong, but against the laws of this country. Thank You.

Red Don can't claim he didn't know what Jeff Sessions was up to even after John Kelly tried to blame it all on Sessions after the story went more global.

I would not put it past those cretins to do something that vile.

And if it comes out to be true what excuse will those christofascist evangelical supporters give to still support and defend him?

I hope there’s a Democratic committee investigating. But if Trump signed the order then the order should be able to be viewed by the public, no?

a paper trail exists and there are chopped copies in everyone's "cya" file. i doubt we will ever know, but just because a policy came ftom "the white house" does not mean that anyone there has fingerpronts on it.

who announced the zero tolerance policy that resulted in a dramatic increase in the circumstances in which child separations occur (and thus in the number of child separations). There were child separations in the past but under much more limited circumstances.
