The GOP's effort to steal this election should clear up any questions about Gore V Bush.

No sane person should believe without a shadow of a doubt that the US Supreme Court STOLE the election for George W. Bush.

I will not go into the plethora of tactics used by the Republican party this election cycle. They have done it out in the complete open, the world can now see. Count all the voter ID laws, understand the cancellation of early voting, the messaging as a result of Citizens United.

The Ohio GOP Secretary of State even went so far as to allow early voting in Republican Counties and strip early voting in the Democratic Counties until he got called out on it.

I call, BULLSHIT!

...that if Gore had held his own state he would have won, or if he hadn't asked for a partial recount he would have won.

Gore DID win. And it was taken away in more than one way. A coup.

The conservative justices on the court knew exactly what they were doing. With the aging of Rehnquist, they clearly saw the coming turn of the court and changed course.

I still find it interesting that O'Connor still chose to retire after the death of Rehnquist. Though speculation is irrelevant on that note, as pandoras box had already been opened in 2000.
