We need to stay united.

I am for impeachment but Speaker Pelosi disagrees so I soundly support her. There is nothing wrong with Democrats having vigorous debates over issues as long as we stay united in the end.

Please don't post far right talking points that Democrats are in disarray.

The only way we lose in 2020 is if we fight among ourselves.

... quick fast and they wouldn't give a damn about the political consequences.

Right now Red Don wants to cut 2 trillion from medicare and medicaid after getting mud stomped due to dems running partially on health care.

They could care less about the political consequences

The NY A.G. just opened an investigation into his financial crimes, and she is a bull dog, a nice bull dog.

Trump had to disband his fraudulent foundation. Trump had to pay 24 million for Trump U.

My guess is that Trump wishes that he never ran for president. My guess is that Trump is scared shitless.

My guess is that justice will be served. We need to make sure that he doesn't win in 2020, if he makes it that far, and he won't have the protection of being president.

younger, 30 year old tRump. He seriously answered, "I would tell him to not run for president". He only ran to appease his massive ego and to make money off of his "brand" (Cohen even said so). I want his face and name to go down in history as US TRAITOR and for him to be completely broke (not even a dime) for generations of future tRumps.

I agree! We can no longer afford fighting and repeating Right Wing talking points. Every day a brick is thrown into our discussions: 1. Ohmar said.... or 2. Kohbachar is mean to her staff or
3. Warren is too shrill or 4. Sanders is not popular with Blacks or 5. XXXX is too old, too young, too too..... Then it is pushed through the main stream media. Instead we need to be talking about what the Democratic Party can do for Americans when we are elected.

I have been told that impeachment does not necessarily mean that trump would leave office. Is there a difference between Impeachment and having his fat ass handcuffed and marched out of the white house to jail? Does impeachment mean he goes to jail, gets fined, gets put on probation, goes freely to Mar-a-Logo, gets indicted, gets out of some crimes but not others, and/or stays in office? I was told that if Clinton had been impeached for the affair he had he still would have remained president so if impeachment does not get one out of office why would it make a difference?

An impeachment is essentially a charge - like an indictment. The Senate then holds a trial with the Chief Justice presiding and House appointed "managers" prosecuting. For the President to be removed from office, the Senate must convict by a two-thirds vote (a high standard that was not met in the two previous attempts).

If the Senate voted - by the appropriate majority - to convict, the only result is the President is removed from office. After impeachment the DoJ policy against indicting a sitting President would not apply. He could then be indicted, tried and, if convicted, imprisoned.

Trump lose, then be indicted.

Democrats have a very short 2 years,( less now), to prove they are capable of Governing.

With the bills being passed in the House in short order, McConnell refusing to vote on them shows what Democrats are capable of.

Most of us want things to happen yesterday, but be patient. Trump knows he is being exposed and we need to uphold each other.
