their children ahead and cheat and fraud to keep them there. And they worry about minorities getting affirmative action treatment. Asians and others sue to keep blacks and hispanics from getting anything meanwhile the privileged just keep getting ahead by stepping on the necks of the disadvantaged.
Fuck them all!!

(2,678 posts)These frauds need to be made an example of. But, in the end, a slap on the wrist is what theyll most likely receive. Meanwhile some poor black kid will get decades, not years, for cannabis possession. Its all fucked! 😡 Hey you frauds! 🖕🏻

(13,527 posts)kids were totally against this disgusting scheme, but lacked the power and courage to tell their parents to fuck right off.
Shame on the parents - your children will still be cleaning up their wrecked and ruined psyches for years to come.

(16,192 posts)Finding out that the good test scores or the college admission you were proud of getting wasnt something to be proud of, but rather something to be ashamed of, would really be horrible.

Whole families are being blown apart today - Im so sorry for the kids, this puts some of them in a really dangerous mental state...I hope they can survive this mutilation of the trust they had in their parents

Participants need to be expelled and the parents arrested

(52,169 posts)they took the SAT and then the SAT from was corrected by the 'proctor' before being sent off. This is like what happened in Atlanta with high school tests those kids didn't know.

And thinking your parents thought they had to cheat to get you in!

(14,861 posts)that provides an income for life, and then the kid can do whatever he or she pleases. No, this was about bragging rights, I think.
And they won't have loans when they get out. They can afford to go to any college that would admit them and they could still do what they want when they get out!

Me.
(35,454 posts)So when do the Trumps get arrested for their multitudes of crimes including cheating and accepting bribes?

(4,316 posts)I pegged her for an honest person, a fighter. What vanity and shallowness to commit this fraud just for a better school.

(4,316 posts)I think she played a sports show executive, and plays a woman who can make it in a man's world, like I said a fighter. I just think someone who is a fighter does not stoop to using money to buy accomplishments. They use their strength. Then she is married to this quirky, unattractive, short man, (who I happen to like a lot as an actor), but I thought her marrying him, must have been some kind of true love. And I attribute true love, to someone who is not trying to use someone else, but loves them for themselves. I also read William Macy, her husband as honest, just comes across that way to me, and seeing him on interviews.
The other actress Lori Loughlin strikes me as very smart, but I can easily see her as just using her looks to get what she wants. She strikes me as vain. But also smart, so I would think she would have passed on that smartness to her daughter, but maybe not.

(46,219 posts)not on this scale.
I attended a private independent women's college. A good portion of the school was made up of debutantes from private schools. They were at the college to wait to get engaged. Some of them were smart and then some weren't. My guess if some of their parents had wanted them to be enrolled, they made donations directly to the college, not to some individuals who would fix their SAT scores or something like that.

(9,875 posts)Heck, when I took SATs in the 60s there was a brilliant kid that I knew who would take SATs or LSATs for other students for a fee. He'd guarantee high scores or he wouldn't get paid. I don't know what he charged or exactly how he got away with it, but he turned out to be a very successful surgeon and it seemed to me to be a tremendous risk he was taking. My guess is that it was much more commonplace than we imagined.
