I gave up my landline phone and started using messenger to talk to my kids. I don't post anything, don't read anything and any information I give them is false.

they reported it's mainly in the US and Europe, but also parts of Australia and Japan, and "some other countries"

Honestly, listen to some peoples excuses to use it and go to an addiction page and see the same stuff about drugs and alcohol. That in itself is enough for me. I dont vouchsafe anybody using it but, SO glad I'm not keyed in to all that. You can use messenger wo the hoopla. Used to be whatsapp. I don't use that either, but I did when it wasn't fb. I prefer to hear a voice when Im having a conversation. Im old fashioned I guess. Sorry everyone had an uncertain day.

I did it years ago and now I never have a problem when I log in every few months. No ads and no crap either.

I did just log in and "like" some family photos. I am so strict with my friends list that only a few family members are on it. I have like 12 friends.
