If she floats, she's a witch

Todd Adkin's belief, that a rape can not induce pregnancy because a woman's body recognizes a rape and will not allow fertilization, means that without exception if a woman is pregnant she could not have been raped.

Think about how much easier this revelation is going to make it to try cases of rape in Court. Simply take the victim and throw her into a pond. If she is pregnant or sinks too bad for her, but if she's barren and floats she's a witch and clearly tempted the poor man with satanic pleasures that no human could refuse - hence no rape occurred.

Bedevere: So, how do we tell if she is made of wood?
Peasant1: Build a bridge out of her!
Bedevere: Ahh, but can you not also make bridges out of stone?
Peasant1: Oh yeah...
Bedevere: Does wood sink in water?
Peasant1: No
Peasant3: No. It floats!
Peasant1: Let's throw her into the bog! (yeah yeah ya!)
Bedevere: What also floats in water?
Peasant1: Bread
Peasant3: Apples
Peasant2: Very small rocks
(Bedevere looks annoyed)
Peasant1: Cider
Peasant3: Grape gravy
Peasant1: Cherries
Peasant3: Mud
King: A Duck!

"there are ways of telling if she is a witch"

"Are there?"

"Tell us"

"Do they hurt?"

The last line delivered by Michael Palin, who also delivered the "BUUURN HER" line, because his character there is a sadistic little shit

I know there's a logical fallacy in this. It's not undivided middle because you're going at it from the opposite direction.

I'll start a thread if I figure it out.
