Donald Trump has already been implicated in multiple felonies related the Michael Cohen payments of hush money to Stormy Daniels. It isn’t surprising that Trump is trying to abuse his power and kill investigations in the SDNY, because abuse of power to keep himself out of trouble was Trump’s gameplan from the moment that he took office. Trump and his administration hold the view that the president is above the law.
Trump thought that he could use the presidency to make all of his problems disappear. It was the plan of a simpleton who didn’t understand the limitations of presidential power or expect to lose the House to Democrats in 2018. - PoliticusUSA
