Texas Towelie's morning posts proves there is no equal justice in US.

Seems like the more you steal, the less time you do. Steal a $100 in a mugging, and get 20 years. We need to redo white collar crime sentencing.

If you have money you can hire a team of lawyers and get away with murder.

Remember?

If you are a poor black kid in the wrong place at the wrong time and a white cop says "lookie what I found on you," what do you suppose happens?

I learned this first hand, 35 years ago as an intern with the St. Louis Public Defender.

Also, race plays a key factor in how long the sentences are, creating institutional poverty.

A few million here, a few million there and it adds up. I admire the whistleblowers and the good citizens who expose the fraud.
