Maybe I'm wrong, I don't see how it will be possible for Trump to run for re-election.

To say things are going to get worse for Trump would be a major under statement. The democrats just took over the House and you can sense the tide has turned against Trump. They are just getting started.

All of this could happen over the coming months.

The mueller report will be released and it will be a blockbuster.

New York could indict the Trump organization. Trumps kids, Kushner could be indicted.

Dozens of people could be indicted, including Whitehouse staff, people who worked in Trumps campaign and Trumps cabinet people. I believe dozens of people have lied under oath.

The house will have open hearings one after another and the American people will see one corrupt lying asshole testify after another.

Trumps people will turn on each other to save thrown asses.

The News cycle will be all about corruption, indictments, investigations leading to more investigations. It will be insane and the American people will turn on Trump.

How could Trump run for re-election under these conditions? There would be large protests everywhere he went. Can you imagine Trump at the debates trying to defend all his crimes. How can you run for re-election when everyone around you has been indicted? It would be a complete joke.

2. I think it's probably more the opposite, he has to run or go to jail.

If indictments aren't sealed, the time limit would expire before he's out of office and that's all he cares about, protecting himself. He will have Russia and Israel and Saudi Arabia running ads for him night and day and be all over social media hurting Dems and helping him. SCOTUS will delay and make sure nothing is done by them about this or any of his other criminality before the election and he could even stage his own version of the Reichstagg Fire - that is what I expect most from him. That's the reason he won't sign onto the Repugs contrived bill to allow just this one more emergency order and no more. He needs it to cancel the constitution and elections if it looks like he won't win. He'll claim we are under attack by terrorists who came over the southern border, at least that's what I expect if Muellers' report shows even a portion of his true criminal and traitorous actions.

elect a criminal - because as you point out, once they are in, the only way to avoid consequences is to make themselves ruler for life.

And he's doing rallies to line his pockets with it, and his trying to con donors for money for his campaign , but will use it for his legal defense funding, and for himself to use any way he wants. I also thing many are already realizing this, and big donors are running away from him now. They see whats coming , and how corrupt and dishonest he is with them now.

only, to scam more free campaign and/or PAC money into his pockets. He'll pretend to run and then citing some weird reason (like all of the other weird and stupid things he's come up with), probably health, he'll announce that he's not running. Then he'll run away with all of the campaign money already raised. This will literally be 100s of millions of dollars. Why else is he doing it?

is done kicking him from every direction, shining the kleig light at all of them, a ham sandwich will be able to beat him.

and our nominee will be the one that shines in the impeachment hearings.
nancy wants to impeach him, and it occurs to me that she has a moment already picked out. if we stretch the hearings to election day, it doesnt matter who's in the senate. he and all the stinking criminals will be absolutely trashed at the ballot box.

but yeah, he has to keep up the pretense to keep raking in the dough.
he'll need it to pay his legal fees and back taxes.
i cant wait for the irs to take his tacky tower in chi away from him.
maybe we can turn it into a homeless shelter.

10. I think this is right, but that when he makes his exit he will run from prosecution.

My guess is there are already dozens of sealed indictments against him right now, and he knows it, and he is already secretly building his home where he plans to flee to in order to avoid prosecution. He will wire all the money he has stolen into foreign bank accounts, and then simply slip out of the country right before his presidency is about to expire. As incredible as that sounds, it seems like a plausable way for him to avoid living the remainder of his sorry life in a prison cell.
