It's ammunition.
They want material they can spin and know that hiding it will make it more difficult.

aware of? These results kind of say that. I can't imagine so many agree all at once. I know that there are differences with how some repugs view the 'national emergency', but 100%.

Maybe nothing happened that we're not aware of, but I was just wondering.

I can see the word getting out on the street (K and the R wing) that the gig is just about up.

I can also see a lot of "mea culpa"s, "I'm sorry, your honor", "Back to spend time with my family" in the future.

The House Republicans get to see, every day, the damage that their “leader” has inflicted upon their party. Every day, they get to see the complete loss of power they now have because, primarily, of him.

All the luxuries, and power they had just a few short months ago.. all gone.

an analysis or article, but something is in the air. Calif. recently had a voter registration drive, and repugs captured a little over 10%, a pretty bad number considering independents got the lion's share, and then the democratic party got the rest. Trends are going against them...take care.

It’s looking like the investigation is wrapping up and the Republicans are seeing the writing on the wall. If Jerry Nadler has to subpoena it now, at least it won’t demonstrate their protecting a criminal president.

To the OP, no. We are seeing a response to nearly 90% of Americans wanting the report released — while we head for a general election.

Passed 420-0.

In the case of those four GOPers, "present" is short for the self-descriptive phrase, "a clear and present danger."

"Republicans said the resolution was unnecessary and a waste of time, but ultimately joined Democrats to approve it. Four Republicans—Reps. Justin Amash of Michigan, Matt Gaetz of Florida, Paul Gosar of Arizona, and Thomas Massie of Kentucky—voted “present.”"
