You and they assume that ONLY them will have access to advanced weapons. In modern times, things don't happen like that. Both sides will have advanced weapons and one side is much better at science and innovation than the other side. I don't want to see a civil war happen, but if I had to guess which side would win one, it would be the liberals. Yes, the right, with all their guns will have an initial advantage, but that will rapidly fade as the greater innovation of the other side starts to take it's toll on the right.

Honestly, I would prefer to see the country divide up into two countries instead of fight another civil war, the right would have a country where they can do any regressive thing that they want and liberals would have the other country. Adults would get a chance to decide which country to move to to live and minor kids will follow adults with a chance to change countries once after they become an adult, up until age 30.

It's scary to contemplate, but I agree with Malcolm Nance that it would never actually come to that. The military would not follow Chump, they hate his guts. I don't believe the municipal police forces of this country would either, most of our cities are solid blue even though some of the cops themselves may have voted for Chump. It's no secret that our intelligence services (FBI, CIA, NSA, etc.) have had it up to here with Chump and they certainly wouldn't go along with this type of instigation.

I can attest to the fact much of the military is not just going to follow him blindly. That ended when he fired Mattis.

The military is trained and totally conditioned to follow orders, drumpf, illegally or not, is their CIC as they see it and they will follow orders. Just like Germans'y Wehrmacht did with Hitler. Lots of them hated him and knew he was a loon, but he was their boss and this was their life so they followed orders. Our guys in uniform would do the same, no matter what some people just want to believe. They won't do it on their own to protect him, but if he orders them to kill Democrats rioting to remove him from office after he's lost the election or been convicted, they will kill us and very few will defect or refuse the orders. Cops contain a lot of white nationalist and they too, at least far too many of them, would kill us. drumpf is definitely pulling out his PUtin tools to threaten our existence if we don't follow him.
