Mueller's top prosecutor leaving in sign special counsel has no 'major unfinished business'

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/politics-news/robert-mueller-s-top-prosecutor-leaving-special-counsel-s-office-n983161

Weissmann led the arguments in the sentencing of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort on Wednesday, and many members of the Mueller team were in the courtroom. The source said Weissmann would not be leaving with major unfinished legal business still to play out. There has been no sign that the Mueller grand jury has met since it released an indictment of former Trump associate Roger Stone in January.

Weissmann will resume teaching at New York University, among other engagements, the source said.

I was wrong. I honestly thought Mueller would deliver the goods and had many more indictments to come. Was I a fool?

And Mueller probably has other capable prosecutors on his team.

You are not a fool. We are all craving for this madness to end.

george war bush and cheney were locked up. Nothing.

Still hopeful, but what we already know and suspect doesn't appear to sway the GOPer controlled Senate or enough of trump's supporters.

Mueller hasn’t yet charged Americans for conspiracy with Russia, that we know of. There are still tons of sealed cases in DC. This isn’t over.

You, me, and every pundit pontificating has zero clue about whether this is good or bad -- OSC doesn't leak so we just don't know.
