MSNBC on the web? I am going somewhere for 6 days without it on cable but with internet, help?

Taking my GF (and dog) to Mammoth Lakes, CA for her birthday, rented a small house that has basic cable and WiFi but not MSNBC. Some old links I got here at DU are not working anymore. Anyone have a clue on what currently works to view it online, please please, I can't watch just CNN!!!

Plus, if I can't watch Mourning Schmoe, how can I complain about---- Mourning Schmoe here on DU each day!!!!! LOL Thanks

And you're with your girlfriend! I can think of better things to do.

Give the political news a break for a few days. It's 99% garbage anyway -- even MSNBC. Believe me, you'll feel better and nothing will have changed when you come back to it.

And I just wanna see it basically on Monday-Tuesday for the pug's circle jerk in Tampa. I will get out and enjoy the scenery, I bought suntan lotion and everything... (lifelong NY'er, Woody Allen comes to mind as my equal in hanging out in the great outdoors!!! LOL)

also, there's an audio-only feed if you can navigate this kaleidoscope of a web page: http://stevekraft.com/radio

Sometimes they stop...just be patient...usually a time like delay...if not, just refresh. Both of these work pretty darn well.

EDIT:

You can forget the rtv.eu link of eShirl....it doesn't work for me anymore anyway! Rockin' Roosters is good too!

to conduct business so.......not so bad and it's basically free! Don't get hung up on some websites insisting you download plugins to watch...there always seems to be a work around for that....like another website in the worst case scenario.

Edit: Another link I love is project-free tv....here's the link to "The Newsroom" but you can click on subjects in their toolbar to get SO many programs.

Edit: tried to give you another link...HBO...but it's not working now...

Honestly, let me tell you that you won't miss anything during your 6-day sojourn if you don't watch MSNBC. Really, nothing.

Just remind yourself that it's the addiction talking ... and then focus on your girlfriend and the beautiful surroundings. It's like rehab.

Unplugging has lowered my heart rate, and given me hours in the day to do other things.
Oh, and saved me about 80.00 a month on tv hookups.

is free (you have to register if you want to chat, which is fun and addictive) and there are some popups, but they aren't spam, Rooster is just trying to get paying customers to help run his servers. It's a private site from Europe.

at home before you leave. Turn on your tv to msnbc. Get an account at Justin tv and start a private broadcast only you can see. When you're on vacation, login into your account at Justin tv to watch.
