I have come to the conclusion that Republicans have no souls

Despite their unholy alliance with the religious(?) right, I can't see where Republicans have any social conscience, charity or humanity. They oppose any effort of government to make life better for its citizens. As Romney snarled in his secret meeting with wealthy donors, "those people" believe that healthcare, jobs, and housing are "rights" of Americans. To that I say "your damn right Mitt". Americans are "entitled to healthcare, housing, food and jobs"
I don't remember who said it but the measure of the "greatness" of any society is how it treats the least of its members. But when anyone suggests a more equitable distribution of wealth, the Repub's scream "socialism". I would call it Christian or a true expression of whatever faith you profess.
What do these MAGATS want our society to be?

The poor...get in the way.
Minorities...get in the way.
Immigrants...get in the way.

The deplorables are like sugared-up brats let loose in a Chuck E. Cheese.
They view Democrats as Socialists making them sit still in church and spanking them for farting on the pews.

They view all of life solely as their own bodies. They don't care about anyone or anything else.

"They Live". Explains everything.

Republicans...not human...aliens in disguise.

Only possible explanation for why they don't care about the human species. They don't belong.

The big wigs want all the goodies, and they use the masses of brain-dead deplorables to get it. Exploit the unfounded fears/predjuces and religious beliefs of the willfully ignorant to get them to vote against their own interests, then sit back and rake in the proceeds. That simple.

gives his servants money to grow, which they do at different rates, also the parable about the workers who work the vineyard for different lengths of time to qualify for full pay.)This was clear in my own soul experience, so to me the parables are right on this. I describe some souls as being the size of a peanut. It's difficult to impart kindness, consideration...all those soul qualities... to a soul the size of a peanut. Notice that in the parables, faith, forgiveness and vicarious atonement play no part. That's the superficial layer. The deeper messages are about soul development.

Liberals extend their empathy to all humans everywhere, and empathy tops their list of moral goods.

Conservatives are more concerned about group loyalty. They have more empathy for the in-group than the out-groups. They consider this morally good because "you have to take care of your own."

It's not an all or none thing. Liberals also have group loyalty, it's just lower down on their list of priorities.
