It appears in the video you see what looks like a microphone antenna move into the frame from below and knock it off.

I'll venture that was oblivion on the part of Squire Hannity, and not nerves of steel.

and it probably crawled OUT of Hannity's gaping maw because it couldn't stand the deluge of shit pouring out of his mouth. It's pretty bad when a stink bug wants to hide from YOU!

No way that I could read a teleprompter, speaking calmly into the microphone, when a bug started crawling on my neck. I would have flinched, jumped, swatted, squeaked, anything but continuing calmly with the talk.

Other than that, screw Hannity and the horse he rode in on.
