Jeb Is Desperate For Some Other Republican, Any Republican, To Run Against Trump

There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that the presidents of the past are horrified by what they’re seeing happen to this country as decades of hard work become undone thanks to a mentally unstable reality television star. Even the prominent Bush family, despite having a Republican legacy to uphold, could not bring themselves to support Trump in the 2016 election. And now, the youngest Bush is putting his family and the rest of the Republican party in a very uncomfortable position as he calls for someone to challenge Trump and steal the presidency from him in 2020.

Jeb Bush may just be bitter that Trump beat him in the last election, causing him to feel inadequate and unable to live up to his father and brother’s legacy. Or, he just might feel he has nothing more to lose and is desperate for a change. In an interview with David Axelrod, Bush practically begged his fellow Republicans to run against Trump and give the party a chance to redeem itself. He said:

I think someone should run just because Republicans ought to be given a choice. It’s hard to beat a sitting President, but to have a conversation about what it is to be a conservative, I think it’s important.”

I cannot see this happening. The right would destroy them.... Unless of course it would lead to a split in the party? A bit like the tiggers in the UK?

If someone opposes the Orange Fuhrer I might cross over and vote in the GOP primary just to try one more way of getting Trump out of there.

We don't have any candidates that would be a disappointment so why not cross over and get him out that way. We just need someone to run against Trump

Willard “the Talking Wig Stand” Romney has a moral obligation to reclaim the leadership of the party of family values. And to provide some unintentional comedy.

I really don't want anyone to primary 45. I think that would help get him and his followers tuned up for the general election. Not to mention, beating the sitting president in a primary is next to impossible.

We need to get behind whoever comes out of the primary. And we need to work to get out the vote.

GW helped create the world we are living in today and bears a lot of responsibility for the current chaos in the Middle East. This family needs to just shut up and go away.

Right now, most republican politicians should keep a very low profile, because most of us don't care what they think. Decades of lying, cheating, corporate cash, and neo-con foreign policy have rendered this party obsolete and useless.
