It would be great to know - with certainty - that all the things you listed would happen in the future. However, it is partly up to us to make the most important of those things happen in 2020. We need to elect a Democrat to the Presidency. We then need that President to immediately form an administration of people with the skills and vision to be a force moving the world in a better direction. (Like Obama, they need to really understand that while the US going in the right direction is essential, we need to co-lead with other countries.)

Just fast forwarding assumes the future is already written. It isn't and all of us need to do our part in writing a better future.
