That would tell me Mueller has enough evidence to prove conspiracy. If Mueller released his report soon and it said there is no proof of a conspiracy that would set off a politically firestorm. There are way to many loose ends. There is a lot more to investigate. Mueller would have to answer a lot of questions before the House if he did that.
Many people still have not been indicted. We know a lot of people have lied under oath about meeting Russians. What about wiki-leaks? Stone, who is at the heart of the conspiracy does not go on trial until November. Mueller could still try and turn him if he is convicted. How could he say there was no conspiracy without trying to learn what Stone knows? Mueller did not subpoena Trump and get him to answer questions under oath about the conspiracy. What about Trumps son and Kushner? What about the cigar bar meeting where Manafort handed over polling data to a fucking Russian?
Mueller would have to explain why so many people were granted immunity and very good plea deals.
The way I see it, if the Mueller report comes out soon that would be very good news for us and very bad news for Trump.

The news reports (mostly from Ken Dilanian of NBC) are wrong.

(14,980 posts)It's usually spun by someone in the wh. they add enough stray bits of info to make it sound real, but so far, it hasn't been.
What makes this such nonsense is that there are multiple, separate and distinct, investigations going on. There is the russia probe, an obstruction probe, public corruption probes, campaign violation probes, probes into providing classified information to foreign gov'ts, etc.
There won't be one report to rule them all. There will be reports, indictments, depositions, committee hearings, trials, and all of the same at the state level.

(54,770 posts)what we already know and suspect. What we know and suspect, hasn't prompted GOPers -- especially in Senate -- to do anything.
