They are using the internet to organize to do something about guns. They are organizing to do something about climate change. The young people of the world see how crazy the older generations have become and they will change things for the better in time.
They are making a difference and they are giving me hope about the future because they are the future.

(34,112 posts)I have seen my generation fail miserably in it's last years. There are certainly many of us who are still the old fighters for the rights of all and anti war people but we are either in the minority now or overlooked with the evilness that is the rest of our generation. I am disappointed by it and saddened to be included in the vitriol but I understand them, we were them once and they will be us in the future.
I am pulling for them. Solidly behind them and if I do not agree with something I have to make myself look at it from their perspective. It is hard to do that but helpful.
