(34,076 posts)followed by one of blame. Stick with your first instinct. It is more in line with the values we purport to hold dear. Would you have said the same of those living in Puerto Rico, NOLA, etc. when Mother Nature saw fit to strike those locations?
(I have dozens of relatives and friends in harm's way, and this comment strikes me as akin to some of Trump's statements when - after a natural tragedy - he hints the victims were to blame.)

(269,087 posts)and there have been several weather related disasters across the country since he stole the presidency - that was my point. Maybe it is insensitive, but I have made it since the hurricanes of 2017.
I have also pointed out that climate change is one of the major issues for our planet.
